City Distillery is a small, artisanal distillery overlooking the river Maas, just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. The distillery specializes in crafting high-quality gin, rakija, and other premium spirits.
In this historic building, traditional distilling techniques are combined with creative, modern flavors. The perfect place to experience the craft up close and discover the passion behind every bottle!
City Distillery in Maastricht offers distilling workshops starting from two participants. Together with an experienced master distiller, you will learn how to create your own gin in approximately two hours.
Operate the copper alembic still, compose your own botanical blend and design a personalized label. At the end of the workshop you’ll take home your own 100 ml bottle of gin. A unique souvenir of your stay in Maastricht!
This gin workshop in Maastricht is perfect for those who appreciate experiences, gastronomy and local craftsmanship. No prior experience is required. A non-alcoholic option is also available. Only available on Saturdays and Sundays.
